Dr. Hasan Farhan

Professor Hasan Ali Farhan; Senior Consultant Cardiologist, Medical Education Specialist, and President of Iraqi Scientific Council of Cardiology, Committee Member of Heart Failure Association/European Society of Cardiology Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM) Committee, Founder of First Cardio-Oncology Clinic in the country, Founder and Director of First Cardio-Maternal Clinic in Iraq and the National Program of Heart Disease in Pregnancy, National Principle Investigator of the international Eur Observational Research Programme (EORP) including: PPCM, Registry Of Pregnancy And Cardiac disease (ROPAC II & III), Heart Failure (HF III), ACS-STEMI, and NSTEMI. Faculty and member of advisory board of International Congress of Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy. He got Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award (To Recognize Authors with the Highest Abstract from Iraq at AHA Scientific Sessions 2021) for an abstract about PPCM. Al-Farhan is a Member of the Steering Committee of ACS-STEMI Registry, the President of International Cardio-Oncology Society [ICOS] Iraq Chapter. He is an abstract grader in ESC Congress from 2014 - 2022, a reviewer and co-author of World Heart Federation Roadmap on Atrial Fibrillation A 2020 Update. Al-Farhan has a wide experience in researches,audits, and clinical trials.
