Dr. Teresa Lopez

Teresa Lopez-Fernandez, is a senior consultant cardiologist specialized in cardio-oncology and cardiac imaging. She established and currently coordinates the cardio-oncology team at La Paz University Hospital and Quironsalud Madrid University Hospital. She is the founder and former chair of the Spanish Cardio-Oncology Working Group. She is also vice-president of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (ICOS) and the elected president of the ESC Cardio-Oncology Council. Dr Lopez-Fernandez co-chair the ESC 2022 Guidelines on Cardio-Oncology. She is the Director of the Masters in Cardiac Imaging at the Catholic University of Murcia and the Masters in Cardio-Oncology at the University Francisco de Vitoria.
